36R Yacht from the 50s
The history of this boat is not known. It came to Yorkshire from Lancashire five years ago and is thought to be a fifties design. Some member may recognise it.
The hull seems to be sound. There are no joint splits and it is probably of bread and butter construction. The inner surface is smooth and there are no ribs but crusty varnish conceals the detail. The deck is varnished ply and there is a brass Braine quadrant and mast slide. Everything appears to be original.

Although the paint is thoroughly crazed, the boat looks as though only a few hours' work together with replacement sails and some fittings would smarten it up considerably.
