Reduced size 'Prospero'

FOR SALE 40'' LOA 39.5'' LWL Reduced size 'Prospero' plank on frame hull with plank on frame deck. 'Braine' steering gear. Not a great deal known about this model, but some research via VMYG has revealed her as probably having been built as early as the 1920s as a Schooner. Sometime later converted to the current Bermuda rig (I would guess around 30 years ago from the information I have) along with the addition of a deck with the planking 'drawn' on. I have photgraphs of under the deck and detail shots for anyone interested in the model. She is in very good condition and I have had her on the water and sailing. Have to sell her in favour of my steam pinnace restoration project. Ill be at the VMYG visit to Dovercourt boating lake on the 18th April with the boat. OFFERS APROACHING £300 please. Marblehead

Boat was built by Joe Meir and designed by  A W Littlejohn. The design is called Restive and was the last M Bert designed in 1963. Boat is in as new condition with a new vane gear
